Kitchen extension to rear of property and installation of lavatory and sink in understair cupboard. Plans already drawn up and building regs approved. Would like to start work in the next month or two.
Thanks to Mark and his team we now have a beautiful kitchen extension and loft conversion. From the initial visit to the snags list at the end, Mark provided an efficient and professional service. Nothing was ever too much trouble, he even helped us through the joy of our Wessex Water application. We were always aware of what the plan was for the week and the guys regularly went beyond the expected to ensure we could still comfortably enjoy our home during the work. I would highly recommend HBC!Laura
the guttering, including facia and downpipe need replacing. i also need the flashing at the back of the house checked. this work is preliminary work, i will also be looking to do some damproofing at the back of the house and a small extension at some point so would prefer someone who will be able to do everything eventually
the 1st fascia Home Improvement lads were really nice. They provided a clear, and incredibly competitive quote. They were happy to do the fascias and guttering on a weekend and at very short notice, and they did a really good job. They even managed not to squash my hedge with their scaffolding. All in all a really good experience. jess
Repoint the chimney stack on 1930s semi. Retile steps to porch 4 steps up and the porch itself
Despite getting off to a wet start they worked through and finished the job the following week. I also had the house painted and fence put up which they fitted in and used a carpenter and painter to work on the jobs so very high quality work.Anthony
Internal wall between hall and dining room to be removed
New kitchen to be fitted
All rooms in good repair
Rubble / kitchen units will require removal
Mark and the team from Henleaze Building Company provided us with an excellent service. The job - an extension, new kitchen and new downstairs WC - was completed on time, due to Mark's attention to detail and project management skills. The team tidied as they went which minimised the impact to us, particularly during the initial stages. Mark made some useful suggestions which improved the finished job. In addition to this Mark and his team came up with some very creative and practical ideas before the job started, this is clearly down to the experience that they have. I was extremely impressed with the standard of workmanship provided by all the members of the team who worked on our job (electrician, plumber, plasterer, carpenter, general labourers, kitchen fitter etc etc.). The finished product is amazing and has made a real difference to our family life. I would recommend Henleaze Building Company Ltd to anyone due to their professionalism, reliability, honesty and the quality of the completed work.Kate
Existing cracked lintel, approximately 1.65 meter span. Lintel is 210mm x 220mm.
Wall was external but now is part of an old extension. Lintel appears to be original cast in situ.
Lintel needs replacing but no need to make good after as room is being renovated,.
Very quick response to initial enquiry. Competitive price, good tidy job finished on time.
Also very friendly, happily recommend to others. Andy
Large bathroom window to be removed and part of wall bricked and plastered and smaller window put in place.
2.5 metre x2.5 meter wall between two rooms to be moved by approx 40 cm to increase size of smaller room. these rooms are under a loft conversion. Not sure if wall is load bearing.
The work was carried out in the arranged time frame to a good standard. Everything was done as we had previously discussed. It was done whilst we were away and we came back to a tidy and clean house. The team kept us updated on the progress of the work. They were reliable and trustworthy and I wouldn't hesitate to use them againLinda
Crack in masonry where two reception rooms have been knocked together. This needs investigating to see if there is enough support from existing rsj and if the wall has been supported properly from the foundations. Insurance company surveyor confirmed it's not subsidence. I also want the wall taken back further to make the opening wider and more even.
We have a property which needs some renovation due neglect. some rooms need re plastering. we would like some advice on creating an opening in an internal wall to create open plan kitchen dinning room. New bathroom and kitchen etc
RPH are very reliable builders. Ash and Matt are great guys who worked extremely hard and we really enjoyed working with them. They have done a first class job for us, the kitchen and bathroom are better than we could have ever hoped. Thanks again guys and look forward to working with you again soon.k

I need a section of wall taking down to open up 2 rooms.
It is a supporting wall so will need a steel lintel or RSJ.
I am self employed in the property maintenance business myself, but this is not the sort of thing that I do. I am also looking for someone with building skills to work with in the future on other potential jobs assuming this goes well.

I'm involved in the purchase of a 1930's property in north bristol. I often have similar job come up and would be interested in starting a mutually beneficial working relationship with a contractor locally who covers this sort of work.
I'm after a contractor to assist with the renovations. I work in the property maintenance and management myself but there are a couple of areas that I need to sub out.
The main job is:
Knocking through a wall to open the kitchen and living room.
This will also involve modifications to the kitchen.
Also I will be looking for someone to:
Install a small area of DPC where there is some rising damp.
Repair a small area of external render.
Replace an asbestos downpipe to the rear of the property. (I've already got quotes for safe removal of the asbestos)
I am also thinking about a loft conversion and would be keen to get the same person to do this if all goes well.
If you would like to quote for some or all of these works then I will be happy to hear from you(budget not based on all jobs combined).
