I want to take down the wall in my kitchen that separates the Utility room from the kitchen. We removed the plaster board to have a look and it seems like it maybe a supporting wall. I would like someone to come and have a look and confirm whether it is or not. Also if it is I would like a quote for putting in a supporting beam. Thank you.
I found them to be very reliable and arrived when they said they would, on time. They gave honest advice and explained everything in layman's terms so that I understood everything. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.Joyce
I want the loft floored for storage and a loft ladder installed in my hallway. Also this loft needs to have a fire wall built between my property and next door. The property is C1890 and a four in a block temenent in Mackinlay Place Kilmarnock. The entry to the shared loft at present is in the shared stair well. However this is on the neighbours side so wont need to be closed up.
From the quote through to the finished job these guys are some of the nicest and respectable workman I've dealt with. The quote was won by the professionalism they displayed when in the flat for the first time. I wanted a firewall built between the neighbour's loft and flooring put down and a hatch cut with loft ladders fitted. This is an old tenement style property built in 1890 so has exceptionally high roof apex. The joiners worked their socks off over 3 and 1/2 days to complete the job. I am delightd by the workmanship and also the polite way the guys went about their business especially as it was my old mum who was baby sitting the flat and cats. Everything was done to my specification and nothing was too much bother. I can highly recommend this company to do any work for you and I certainly will be getting them back the next time I need building works being done.Charlie

Install two windows: one in place of existing garage door and one for shower room. Add internal studding to walls. All plumbing and electrics (may involve upgade to consumer unit). Ceiling coverings. Add connecting door to access house. All building warrants, planning permission, certifications, etc. Current garage is approx 7.2m long by 2.6m wide of blockwork construction with flat roof. There is a gas boiler in the garage. It is envisaged that the bedroom would occupy the full width and around 5m of the length with the remaining space used for the shower room and access passage.
