I don't want to convert my lofy but I would like somelfooring put down up there and a light so that I can store things.
Steve was very professional, prompt and the work was completed on time and to my satisfaction as well as being competitvely priced. I'd be happy to recommend WhyDIY.Suzy
3M extension to rear of property (permitted development), extending dining room & kitchen. Extension to be open plan, so support beams required. 15 degree sloping ceiling with velux windows. Fitting of WC understairs, requiring a stub stack and connecting to existing drainage.
Plans submitted to Reading Building Control, and hope to have work completed by Christmas.
Issit Brickwork have completed our extension and we are really pleased with the work. there are still a couple of minor things to finish off (hence the 4.5 score) but teh new extension looks great. Kenny and the team were very easy to work with and offered great very good value for money. We plan to put some more projects Kenny's way and have already recommended him to friends.Susan
2 pitched roof spaces over annex 2.4m x 5m and garage 3m x 6m. Areas are free and clean
Sam & Matt are very, very good. I have used four building firms in the last 9 years and Build Creations Ltd have been better than all of them. This is my first experience of a building firm where I have felt confident in the quality of the work. Where to start:
1. They turn up when the say they will
2. Their quotes are accurate, very well detailed and competitive
3. The quality of their work is really excellent - by any standard let alone some of the builders I have seen
4. Their approach to how they work is second to none - the worksite is kept clean, well organised and is tidy at the end of each day. They wear and use the right safety equipment and their attuitude is very professional
Would I use Build Creations again? Without a doubt.
Would I recommend them? Without reservation. If you have ever had a bad experience with the 'British Builder' of pub story fame then Build Creations will restore your confidence.murray
Suspended ceiling already in place (4.5mx2.7m). Remove commercial style ceiliing (e.g. tiles and fluroscent recessed lights)
Very professional and thorough job (replacing commercial style ceiling in a kitchen with timber sub-frame, skimmed plasterboard and downlights). Was kept informed during the entire process. Worked late into the evening to ensure it was completed within the timescales and to a very high standard.Colin
I cant say enough good things about Michael and his coleague Peter. They started on the agreed day, put up with our indecisivness and still finished on time. They stuk to the quoted price and I would gladly use them again.Andy

Its an extension and garage conversion. The garage is attached to the house and is single width. I would like to put a small extention onto the side of my kitchen which would provide a utility room but also link to the garage.
I am considering both a single story and double story.
I can see that other houses on the same street have had this type of work.

Updated : The house was built around 1980. On the groundfloor rear of the house is the kitchen (4m by 3.5m). On the front of the house is the dining room (3.5m by 3.5m). Floors are level and are concrete. Between the two rooms is the downstairs loo which is 2.5m by 1.2m. All walls are solid (not hollow). The plan is to remove both walls, switch the toilet around into a section of the adjacent brick built double length garage, and create a larger dining kitchen/ living space. The job is to bring the room to a plastered finish where the loo was between the two removed walls and the same in the newly formed loo. I will them put a new kitchen in and redecorate. there are no plans drawn up. Job to be done in Q1 2013. Original : The house was built around 1980.
