turn a garage into a playroom / bedroom for a child
Gary was a very helpfully guy , who tryed very hard to do everything to help us get all we wanted on the job . We had to keep on him , to make shaw everything was done and the job was done very well in the end , but at times he did look like nothing was being done . he would work six days , which was fine , but with more get up and go the job would get done much quicker . All said and done the job we asked for was done and done well .

The wall to be removed was added by a previous owner and is not part of the original building. (We have seen a neighbours entrance hall which is original and has no wall/cupboard) The dimensions are approximately 6ft 7" height at the tallest point down to the floor and 6ft in width (in roughly a wedge shape). The wall is 10" at its thickest point where it forms a corner and approximately 6" for the majority of the wedge shape. There is a double electric socket to move to the outside wall, plastering to make good and skirting to be moved and/or replaced if existing is not sufficient.
Had a wall knocked down and new floor fitted by Phil. He was extremely careful not to cause too much mess and double checked before going ahead with any work. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family and use him for any future work!

We have completed building regs ready for a 2nd floor timber frame extension (under 8m2) to include a family bathroom and a master ensuite. The build requires 2 RSJs and to lower the existing kitchen ceiling to create head height. The build will also include putting in the bathrooms and all tiling and flooring. It will also include some alteration of one kitchen wall to form an archway for a range cooker. The build is within the permitted space so no planning permission was required. The property is an old workers cottage c. 1895. We would like to start the work as soon as possible. We look forward to hearing from you.
