Eric and his team have made the refurbishment work on our house so much less painful than it could have been. From the start (and we havent finished yet as we keep finding extra jobs for them to do!) nothing has been too much trouble. Eric even came shopping for the bathroom suite and tiles which one could argue was beyond the call of duty. They are not the cheapest - but you get what you pay for. I wouldn;t hesitate recommending MK Builders.

This was a fairly complicated extension with quite a few internal changes as well as adding a new section to the house, and took 4 months to complete. I would be very happy to use Tony and Dave again, they proved to be very reliable and gave us the extension that we wanted within the timescale and price that they quoted. Their experience was most beneficial, and they proved very adaptable to the design changes we made as the project progressed, and the additional work that we asked of them. As well as the building work, decorating and tiling they also handled all of the project management, dealt with the building control officials and engaged all the various trades as required. Top chaps actually, they looked after the house while we were away on holiday and kept the fish fed as well. Recommended

The work includes: 1.trench for drainage connection 2.new manhole 3.installation of a new toilet and sink(provided by owner) 4.foundation for the 2 new walls 5.construction of the brick walls(bricks, cavity,etc) 6.installation of the new window(provided by owner) 7.construction of the inside slab(DMP etc) 8.cut into the existing wall and installation of a new door(provided by owner) 9.installation of 3 new power points 10.installation of a plasterboard wall with a side door(at the back of the carport) 11.plaster for the inside walls and ceiling(painting on the inside by owner) If I can get a price with and without the materials would be appreciated. The internal dims of the room are aprox 2400x4800, however the area that needs to be closed by walls is 2000 at full height(aprox 2100) and 2400(with a window included) The window is to be installed by someone else.
