We are in a single store house with a conservatory which we wish to make into a more liveable space, ie build up the walls slightly and put a more solid roof on. We have a pretty clear idea of what we want to do and have plans, just need someone to do the work.
Removal of the structural wall between kitchen and dining room to create an opening of 3.15m. A 0.225m nib to be left at one end, a 225mm projection to be built at the other end bonded in with the adjoining wall, and a beam put in. Two radiators to be removed and re-sited, light switch to be re-sited, and doorway to be moved. Structural calculations have been done.
I'm not sure
