Reading the other's rating I can't believe we are talking about the same guy. But in fact we are. Shame I can't share the same praise as others. Initially quoted for a 3 week period for various jobs including plastering, brick work etc etc but come 5 weeks later I keep hearing "it'll all be done by next week". Well 8 weeks have past and the plastering is still not finished - money all paid up and no sign of Ian anywhere. Definitely would not recommend.Kam

My extension consisted of a garage, utility room and toilet on the lower floor and a bedroom with en-suite bathroom above this, built to first fix.
Throughout the building period I was impressed with the service provided by the director, Ian Brocklebank. I felt that he was exceptional, he took away the need for me to micromanage, I did not worry about getting the materials, ensuring the correct workman arrived at the correct date etc, thus the entire building of the extension was completely stress free. Ian Brocklebankâ??s positive attitude towards clients is rare in todayâ??s world and it was refreshing to deal with such an honest, helpful, reliable and professional individual. His accommodating and flexible attitude allowed small changes and additions to the original plan to be easily implemented as the build progressed.

Unsold Job, Updated Details : internal redesign: remove wall + build new en-suite bathroom Original : Our sandstone period house dated 1905 is in need of renovation. We would need tradesmen for the following:
1. Check home electric system and repair electric gates and bell system
2. Check walls within the sandstone property to assess whether we can knock down partitions/walls and pierce a new door to the existing bathroom
3. Pierce 2 windows through outside sandstone wall (1st floor)
4. Replace & reposition boiler
5. Replace kitchen units/tiled floor/lighting/install new range + hood + dishwasher
6. Redesign existing bathroom/separate toilet by knocking down separating wall
