1930's staircase and would like modern spindel's to create open space.
Requested quotes through rated for a new staircase bannister and Tony contacted us very quickly. Arranged for visit within a couple of days and quote with us next morning. Very reasonable and also asked him to carry out a few other smaller jobs we'd never got round to doing. Went ahead and turned up as arranged and completed the job sooner than expected. He worked quickly, efficiently and highly professional. Standard of staircase is superb and really pleased. Highly recommended and will use services again
Single storey kitchen extension at the rear of Victorian terrace house.
Widen kitchen, filling out into side return and opening up from the dining room.
Planning permission agreed.
Building regs drawings submitted and drawings to quote on available.
Approx 33 sq ft of ground space, to include small WC and utility in back right corner.
Looking for local builder to quote, must have references and completed similar work recently, providing evidence of this.
Joe and his team and NWBS did an excellent job and have transformed our living space on time and budget.
Joe was realistic from the outset and his personable approach and attention to details ensured that nothing was missed throughout the process.
He was clear about costs on every level and delivered a quality service from start to finish.
I would highly recommend Joe and his team to people looking for jobs of a similar size.
Many thanks we can now enjoy our great new living space and kitchen.
Repair of crack (internal and external) of panel between bay windows where the panel meets the wall. Surveyor recommended strapping internally to tie the panel back to the woodwork.
Jeff and his team were excellent. We required a number of jobs doing for our new house and Jeff was always willing to help out with anything we needed. I would highly recommend Jeff if you want quality and reliability.
We're a victorian semi that needs the loft boarding out for storage with access with a loft ladder. The problem is that the existing loft hatch is currently very small and in a false ceiling (the hatch in the 'real' ceiling is also very small), so both of these need considerable enlargement.
We had our loft boarded out and the loft hatch enlarged. Due to unforseen circumstances the job also needed the services of a plasterer which he sourced and employed. The work was very good, he was professional, couteous and tidy. Overall, we're very pleased and would certainly recommend him.
Fantastic job - In the end I went for a full knock through of kitchen and lounge as well as installing the French doors. Jamie and his team were excellent, their quote was competative, they arrived promptly were extremely professional and trustworthy and kept mess to a minimum. The overall standard of the work far exceeded my expectation. I would recommend them and will certainly use them for any other future work. A pleasure to work with.
We have a patch of penetrating damp in a chimney breast on the 1st floor. Chimney was originally closed on ground floor (now open with view to stove being out in) and is still closed off in bedroom (to be opened with a view to putting in an ornamental fireplace). We would like the source of the damp fixing so we can plaster the bedroom.
Reliable, friendly and prompt service. Would recommend and definitely use again if necessary.

Require a chimney breast removed in my master bedroom.
Decorative chimney breast has been removed, wall and some of ceiling needs re-bricking/repairing.
I need a loft access hatch fitting in a bedroom ceiling. Maybe 2'6" x 2'.00". No hatch there at present.
Have a leak in the upstairs bedroom and think it might be coming from the flashing or mortar around the chinmey on the roof. It is only a small opening to access the loft just so you know. That is just our assumption it might not be that at all so needs investigating. In Sale area M33 7SZ
