I have a chimney which I am told is in need of a rebuild. It is shared with next door and I would prefer not to cause too much disruption to my neighbor. I am also told that their side of the chimney has already been repaired but is in need of re-pointing. The house has a second floor and therefore will likely require scaffolding. I only want to use the flue serving the front room. The rest can be capped. I already have some of the caps in place.
I am very pleased with the work that Terry carried out.

Take out a wall between currently separate toilet and bathroom to make one room, and build a wall/door on outside of bathroom to enclose the room, and remove internal kitchen wall (currently between a 'morning' room and small kitchen) to increase kitchen size.
We needed a lot of work doing to our new house, including knocking out a wall between the separate toilet and bathroom, and another wall between the kitchen and morning room, resulting in two much larger rooms. We had a new bathroom and kitchen fitted, both tiled, decorated, new electrics and plumbing, new ceilings put in - and what an amazing job Tony and his team did! We are so pleased with the end results, it's hard to believe that a month ago the rooms were half the size they are now, and impossible to tell at all that rooms have been joined together. The team are all very friendly and trustworthy, and nothing was too much trouble for them. We will certainly be using them for any work we need doing in the future.

Apologies, i have posted this job before but my other email is not working. 1 hole to be cut through a thick, outdoor wall to enable a catflap.
Andy arrived exactly when he said he would and although the job was a little unusual and something he hadn't done before, we are really pleased with the work he has done! Despite having to go out and get more supplies, he still only charged us what had been agreed before he started the job. But due to the fact that he has done such a good, neat job and tidied up well after himself, we decided to add a little more to that amount. Really pleased with the job and would definitely use him again. Would receommend this company.

Removal of 12'9" wall between living room and dining room to create a through lounge. Unsure whether the wall is load-bearing
Joe was professional, friendly and gave excellent advice. The quality of the work was very high and the place was left very clean and tidy. The price quoted was very competitive and there were no hidden extras. Overall we were completely happy with the work done, would use the company again without hesitation and would be happy to recommend them to anyone.

Classic 1930's semi --felt and reroof, replace all fascias soffits etc. with upvc. Reroof detached garage replace flat roof extension with pitched roof app 4x5m. Replace garage door with brickwork and upvc window. 1upvc window app 1.5x1.5. replace 3 blown upvc units. Install wc and whb in garage and connect to foul drain app 3/4m away. construct small porch to garage entrance. Fit external upvc door to arched entrance doorway.
The job was hampered by the bad weather so the initial work took longer than expected, but overall a very good job for a very good price. All workmen pleasant and polite and we have now decided to use APL for another major project.

Hello, I have listed the job as chimney related but am not 100% sure of this. I have a wet patch on a wall and ceiling in an upstairs room which is next to the external wall of the house which gets most of the rain. The more it rains, the bigger the wet patch so I think there is a place teh rain is getting in. However, I have had the chimney capped, chimney sweeped, air filter fitted into the internal wall to provide an escape for any condensation in the cavity, external brickwork/grouting checked and sealed and the wet patch still appears. I am looking for someone to find the route of the problem and provide a quote for any repair work. Thank you for reading.

Quotation required for: i. end gable wall only; and ii. end gable wall and rear of property. 2. Damp Proof Course. 3. Remove/replace affected plaster in front/rear living area where necessary, including renovation of fireplace and replacing of skirting board where required. 4. Insertion of additional support beam into living room floor/cellar ceiling. 5. Repairs to front corner of chimney. 6. Tanking/plaster-boarding of single chamber + 1 corridor cellar.
