Room size 5m x 5m approx with high victorian ceiling. Some skirting boards to be taken out. Two new doors to be fitted.
Very pleased with whole job. Sean organised two other trades with no problems. Job was completed quickly on time and with little mess. Not often you can say that when having a room replastered! Would whole heartedly recommend him to anyone.

Supplying, fitting and finishing a staircase to get into the loft. The existing area is just right to enable this so relatively speaking it will be a simple enough job. The complicated bit is that we'd like the balustrade to look the same as our existing. it's a simple design with 20mm sq spindles spaced 2 1/4" apart. The newels are 90mm square and the handrail is 70mm at the top edge tapered to 52mm at the bottom with 1 3/4" between top and bottom. All of which is in white Oak. We may source these oak parts separately, the stairs themselves would be fine on MDF or whatever. The height from floor to ceiling is 2.4m, there will be a little boxing in required where the stairway meets the ceiling near a door and some work required to facilitate a door at the top of the new stairs. The loft would remain as a loft as far as building regs go but this is something we may need some advice on.
