I have a downstairs supporting wall to take out. I already have the building control involved, and also have the calculations for the RSJ that will be required from the structural engineer. We are ready to proceed with this.
I cannot recommend PAG highly enough. I put my request for quotes on rated people, & Paul from PAG was in touch very swiftly. As soon as Paul came to the house my gut feeling was that he was a man who I could trust and work with, & I was not wrong. The workmanship of Paul & his men, John and Shaun, was excellent, & they are a friendly bunch as well, easy to talk to, which I like. I 100% recommend PAG design & build, and would give this company a reference any day of the week. They are superb. Very pleased.Ray
Useless & Naff 70's extension to be remodelled and a downstairs toilet installed.
From the first meeting Jimmy inspired me with his understanding of what we wanted, nothing was any trouble when things were added or changed & he was always eager to do extra jobs.
An old fashioned general builder with the kind of broad knowledge that experience brings & is essential when dealing with old buildings that have been botched over the years.
Nothing flashy or swish with Jimmy, just good common sense and steady hard work. Open to clients ideas & able to make them happen.Philip & Ross
to build wooden constructed dormer type shell above existing kitchen and bathroom currently with flat roof, no drainage or footings required ( architect has discussed this)Does not need interior plastering or finishing as we will do this ourselves. will have man-made pitched roof tiles and will have access ( to be made) through upper hallway. Basically just the shell required and rendered.
Ray and his team were extremely efficient, the building materials and costs were super and have already referred him to a close friend also looking to build an extension. that should tell you just how pleased we were with the whole service. From initial point of contact to completion, we were kept informed at each stage, they took pride in their work and were mindful of keeping the house clean ( no mean feat as all building materials had to go through the house itself). I would recommend them to anyone.ELAINE
Looking at making a new doorway between the living room and dining room and probably have a bi-fold door fitted.
Noel made a new opening between our dining room and living room, fitted a new door and threshold and painted the lot. He was able to fit us in very quickly, turned up when he said he would, did a beautiful job and left the place clean and tidy. We are very pleased with the service offered.Christelle

job 4 is build large balcony with stair case to garden
job 5 is to convert cupboard space to make one room

Creation of an L-shaped room by removing part of the stud wall that joins the room to the next, and creating new wall approx 6' wide across adjoining room (which will reduce the size of the other room by about 4'6"). To make good where wall has been removed and finish the new part of wall with skirting board, plaster and paint.
Also, tiling above bath to accommodate shower-over-bath and fit shower screen.
