"Failed to make us aware that the job had trebled in cost over the original quotation. Poor workmanship, and failed to complete. Currently in dispute over 30 point snag list, failure to complete, final cost and the fact that he has removed 3 of our doors under the false pretense of fixing the outstanding problems. Situation reported to FMB as their Code of Conduct was not followed. Very disappointing. "

"This builder has made defamatory comments regarding me despite evidence to the contrary. He appears to think that this website is for consumers looking for traders, and therefore his comments would be irrelevant EVEN IF THEY WERE TRUE. It appears he has withdrawn his membership of the FMB (he would have failed to keep membership anyway), and has stated to his Electrical subcontractor that he has now gone bust. Avoid at all costs. No doubt he will resurface under a different trading name after having written off his liability by closing his previous company."
