This is a difficult one to define the correct trade and job so have gone for the best fit.
The law on gas safety and inspection of hidden flues has changed and inspection hatches are required to inspect joints in the flue.
The property in question is a first floor flat. The distance between the boiler and the wall where the flue exhaust comes out is between 3 and 4 metres (therefore 3 hatches max). I need a quote for the fitting of hatches in a ceiling to comply building regulations and this new law.
Never used Williams Carpentry due to getting cheaper quote, but the dealings I had with Scott Williams, were very good. Great communication, very polite and helpful. The quote was not too far off the mark.

Exrtension for larger kitchen
This is the first builder I have met that really seemed to know what he is talking about. Found him very helpeful and a pleasure to deal with.
The price that was quoted was fair and in comparison not the cheapest but the quality of work carried out I was extremely impressed with. If anyone needs a recommendation I'm more than willing to speak to you.
There were extras on this job but he explained the reasons why it needed to be carried out and it was explained clearly before any extra work was carried out.
Very impressed so have given 5 star rating.

Internally the wall has been plastered and looks like any other internal wall. I am not aware of how this has been constructed but it seems to be to a good standard and there are no signs of damp.
I have no idea of the costs of such a job so the budget is complete guesswork, thank you for taking the time
