Taking down a non-load bearing wall to extend a kitchen into an existing box room, putting up a new wall and forming a door. This will involve the moving of pipes, electrics and radiators. We also need a false ceiling taken down and the unused water tank from the old central heating system taken away. It is a top floor flat.
Andrew & Jarek reconfigured our student son's flat. This involved following architect's plans, building, plumbing. electrical work and painting and decorating. We could not have been more pleased with the result. They worked incredibly hard and the standard of workmanship and expertise was exceptional. They were able to offer advice and worked into the night to get the flat ready on schedule The proof of how happy we are is that we have now hired them to fit a new kitchen & bathroom in our house!

I want to take my current kitchen (in a traditional tenement flat) and divide it into two rooms to create an internal kitchen and an extra bedroom. To do this, I need to have services (water & gas) moved to a different location in the room. I also require a wall to be built, dividing the current floor space in two. I would plan and purchse the new kitchen but would require it to be fitted. There would also be some electrics work to get power in the right places for appliances & lighting.
We recently used A & J Joinery and Building Services in the renovation of our kitchen. Following the work, we would thoroughly recommend them. They carried out a professional and fairly priced job which we are very happy with. The standard to which the work has been completed is excellent and the guys are friendly, approachable and trustworthy. We will defintely use them again if we have any further projects in our home and would encourage friends and family to do the same without hesitation.

Double upper flat technically has a third floor in the form of an extensive attic space, currently accessible via internal ladder. There is no insulation up there at all, and I would like advice as to how this might best be changed. Until the property is fully renovated, which will not be for a few years, I am not interested in using the more expensive slimline reflective materials that can be fixed to the underside of the eaves, but am hoping to find a cost effective interim solution. Work would need to be undertaken between 6th and 30th July this year. Please let me know if you are interested in quoting.
Job completed exactly as required, and in fact much more promptly than I had anticipated, including a v fiddly area over a dormer window. Would happily recommend.
