Comment I required a double storey extension to be completed on the property increasing the property size and giving me an additional bathroom, study, bedroom, utility room, lounge and a larger dining room, kitchen and the smaller of the rooms increased in size along with the upstairs bathroom. Ken was the most reasonable price that I had received and was not beyond ridiculous. The plans were given to Ken and with a breakdown of the work that I required to be carried out. I requested three different prices. A price for the extension to be completed so that all that needed doing was decorating, a price for the shell to be completed and a price for the whole roof to be changed. Ken was very helpful and provided all the prices I required and a breakdown of all the work. I requested Ken to come back a few times to discuss other options and adjustments in the plans which was he accommodated without complaint or issue. Ken was given the go ahead to complete the work and a start day was agreed. Another breakdown of prices was given with a schedule of payments. No money was given upfront. Ken managed to start the work early and begun in mid August. All the people that carried out the work on the property were friendly and worked hard only stopping for quick comfort break and lunch. The work was carried out at a high standard with a professional workforce. The builders were left access to the property without me being at the property. The only times that they went inside was to use the facilities and to gain access to the tea and coffee left for them. Very trustworthy builders and always made the property was secure on leaving. All the work carried was explained and if any changes were made, reasons were given why. Nothing was carried out unless I was happy with the work. I requested changes which prices were given for if there was to be any difference in price. The plastering was a very smooth finish and required next to no rubbing down at all which makes decorating a lot less work. The tiling was equally impressive and now have more tiling being carried out on the property, The worked was not finished on time but this was due to the extra work being carried out and extreme weather conditions making it difficult for parts being delivered so no fault to the builders. The work has been finished only one to two weeks later than planned so still very good going. Many people have commented on the quality of the work and have asked for Ken’s details so that they can get worked carried out on their properties. I have also passed on the details and recommended to others also. I will also be having Ken returning at a later date to continue more work. Ken is a very trustworthy and reasonably priced builder. You would be hard to find better. Jamie

Job 1 room - kithcen needs rewiring new spotlights fitted beam removed replaced with rsj replastering new boiler

Comment Job completed to a high standard, cleaned up at the end of each day, turned up on time every day and ensured we were happy with everything once work was completed. I reccomend using this builder and will use them again when I next need work done paul
