We have damp patches on our bedroom ceiling and walls, possibly caused by wet getting in around an external chimney and/or problems with gutters. We would like the chimney removed and the gutters cleaned and checked to make sure the "drops" are OK.

Updated : Sanding of original floorboards in period property. Been under carpet for many years so in fair condition. A long time ago there must have been lino laid as there are still a few patches but it does sand off. No more than 1 days work so ideal as a filler between larger jobs. The house is in Manningtree and I am keen to proceed Original : To sand the floor in one room. Dimensions 3.5 x 3.4m. Boards pretty good, has some old lino in patches but scrapes off easily.
Not a big job but don;t have enough time to do it ourselves and keen to get it done.
