stone built house. damp evident to one side of old fireplace which has been bricked up last year. Air vent was put in at the time - the rest is ok but one small patch has returned. Think maybe leak at top of chimmney
ronnie gave a very competitive quote after a thorough inspection of the work required. He was prompt in turning up to do the job and efficient in completing it. He was very clean and tidy in his work. He actually did a little more work than originally quoted for for the same price which we greatly appreciated. Would use ronnie again.

We got Top Deck Joinery to undertake the work (Garage conversion) despite John not yet having been rated on this site. And we are delighted we did! John who runs top deck explained that he was a site mananger for the likes of Barratt & Redrow etc and it showed, The work was done to an exeptionaly high standard (snagged everything himself) was done on time with minimum disruption & very clean, I have to tell you that he wasn't the cheapest but you get what you pay for we say...I really can't fault anything. more than happy to recommend Top Deck Joinery

British Gas condemned coping on chimney saying it required cementing. Harling on garage coming away after last winter. Would require tradesman to supply materials.
Very pleased with this company. They started when they said they would and apart for some rain everything went well. Things were tidied up at the end of their day and at the end of the job you wouldn't have known that workmen had been apart that is from the roughcast to the garage. Ajob well done, thanks.

As above. Holes have appeared in a couple of steps as well as a lot of crumbling. Damage caused by the recent poor winter conditions. Steps situated to rear of 3 storey tenament building providing access to the four upper flats. Stairs form part of unused old outbuilding. Stairs in need of fairly urgent attention so would appreciate swift quote and execution of work.
Communicated brilliantly at all times and kept right up to date with progress. Overall they did an excellent job. Very glad to have used Big Construction.
