From start to finish, a very professional job. Paul Haley arrived to quote for our job with a photo portfolio of previous work for us to look at, a copy of our plans downloaded from the council website, and a very competitive quote. This organised and professional approach to his work continued throughout the job. Communication was excellent, as Paul phoned daily to keep me updated on the progress of the build. The final result was outstanding and I would highly recommend Haley design and Build!!

This project is an extension to a semi-detached timber-framed house in Dunfermline; the house was built in 1986. Planning permission has been obtained for a 2-storey extension to the side (garage with a bedroom/en-suite above) and a single-storey extension to the rear (kitchen, utility and toilet). There are also internal works in the existing house to create/move partition walls, move a doorway in a load-bearing wall, create a new family bathroom, and install a new boiler. New windows are also required in the existing house, to match the windows in the extension. UBs are required to be installed for some of the structural works. The ground floor area of the extension is about 37 sq metres. We are looking to start the project in mid-January 2013. Architect's drawings and draft specification are available.
