plans and permission in place. living area disabled wet room, kitchen. upstairs bedroom on suite, plus toilet
would rate lower if possible. work over run 6 weeks no materials for workers on site, only seen McGurk when looking for money. have since found out did not pay wages to staff. Have been contacted by sub-contracted electrician and plumber who have not been paid. Suppliers of timber and other material not been paid new kitchen supplier not been paid, all this and McGurk gave assurances right up to the time I refused to give any further money to him. then told me there was no money left and that he would pay to finish job when he received payment from next customer. WARNING DO USE THIS MAN HE SOUNDS GREAT BUT IS A REAL CON-MAN!!!! If it was not for A Wilson joinery who stepped in and completed job, we would have been left to live in a building site for the forseeable future, so any one needing good honest work people Alan wilson is your man, but stay well away from John McGurk and mgh building design

Area in question is a sloped, partly enclosed part of the kitchen and measures approx. 5ftx5ftx3ft. It sits underneath a sloped staircase but the main support is obstructing access to a potentially useful storage space under the existing stair.This wooden support needs to be removed and replaced with a structure that would allow unobstructed access and still provide safe support for the staircase. There is a gas pipe, central heating pipes, a telephone socket and an electric light fitting which would all have to be repositioned
