"I would strongly advise people not to choose this builder - "C Rivers and Co", he walked off the job owing thousands of pounds. We are still getting phone calls now from people (Machine hire etc) saying he owes money. The work Chris undertook was beyond his capability. We have no confidence in his integrity and whilst he may talk a good job he does not have the confidence to carry it out. He also damaged neighbouring properties while using a digger - which he has never repaired and has left it for us to put right (The buckets scraped some outbuildings in neighbours gardens) Chris also damaged fencing which we had put around a "Slow Worm" area. We are considering taking legal action against him. The only thing I can say in his favour that initially he was polite and enthusiastic but just not up to the job of building a house.
