Updated : Your dropdown list didnot include the work I need doing so I clicked on Chimney etc. I need my bay window rebuilt, preferably in rose/red brick with a stone window sill. The new windoe is waiting to be fitted but the bay needs doing first. The bay is square- about 160cm x 50 cms. I had engaged a builder who quoted £1800 approx, but he has let me down, not returning my phone calls or saying he will get back to me but not doing so. Original : Rebuilding square bay window in brick, replacing stone window sill. Window sill has been leaking and cause damp across the fron of house.
Very disappointed. I asked for an experienced bricklayer/builder. Nicolas Constuction is neither. Rebuilding bay - absolute rubbish. The bay is not on the original footprint so the new window does not fit under the pitched roof above it properly. No two rows of bricks are symetrical. The mortar used on the first day is a different mix to the mortar used on the second day. The stone sill was broken at the mitred corner so he broke the other corner to match!. It looks like a really bad bodge.

I need a small coal bunker demolished and a shallow flight of 3-4 steps built up to the garden level. The left side has a partial retaining wall (of the garden earth) which will need extending to the top step. I am happy to have old bricks etc., used in this construction.
I cannot recommended Sustain Property Services highly enough. Chris is extremely pleasant and polite and very willing. His workmanship is simply first class, exceptionally speedy, and impeccably neat and tidy. I am delighted with the end result and fully intend using his services again.

I have a newly built home and need a builder to hang some vertical blinds up, the problem I have is that the vertical blinds are being hung above french doors which have a metal lintel above them
Excellent service from Stonebarn, they responded to all my requests. Found a suitable time for both of us and installed the blinds at a very competitive price. They were difficult to install but Stonebarn carried out the job to my satisfaction, filled up holes I had made previously and tidied up after the work was carried out I have actually commisioned stonebarn to carry out other jobs as a result and they will be coming back in the next few days to carry this out. So thanks Stonebarn and rated people, my first request here and the company recommended has been exceptional!

The wall is approx 10" long and we think that it is a stud wall. The wall seperates the kitchen and dining room.
Just wanted to say a big thank you to AB Carpentry for a great job. You were brilliant coming to see us on more than one ocassion before the work started and you kept your word and completed the job just as promised. Would recommend and do hope to use again soon.
