Hello. I need two walls removing and some RSJ's putting up to replace them. I also need a small extension onto the same room into the garden (about 5 foot). Upstairs I need to reconfigure two rooms and a corridor. Although this will be easy as they are only stud walls. I also need a soil stack putting in the house as its an outside toilet (although I appreciate I may need someone else to do this bit). Many thanks James
RSL completely remodeled and restored our house. It was a complex job. He was polite, easy to deal with and very experienced. He did a brilliant job and we have been thrilled with the results. He moved walls, put in RSJ's, soil stack, bathroom, kitchen, new extension, roof, heating system, rewired, replastered and got rid of damp issues. It was slightly over time and a tad over budget but nothing really. But he did it so well. We will be using him again.Thank you Bob! James and Jo 11/9/12

The level of communication is great, and the breakdown for quotes was fantastic. Should I get my building project of the ground again I will call Frithsden first.

Knocking down an internal wall approximately 10ft long to join kitchen and sitting room together.
Jeff and his team did a great job and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Great at communicating and provided sound practical advice. Jeff recommended a structural engineer who we were also very pleased with. The work was finished within the time frame indicated and on budget. Also went the extra mile after the job was done by recommending others that were able to help us with the the cosmetic finish. Thank you Jeff!

Hi, I'm ideally looking for a local builder who is registered on the competent person scheme (to self-certify for Building Regs). The job is pretty simple as just looking to knock down the breezeblock wall between the kitchen and the dining room, and then to have a new doorway installed. At this stage it's hard to say if the wall is supporting, but i suspect part of it is and therfore will require an RSJ to be installed. I am looking to do most of the prep work... remove the tiles, plasterboard, etc, and also I'll do the finishing work... decorating, flooring, etc. It would be good to arrange for you to call round to have a look at the job and give a quote. Part of the ceiling boards have been removed so you can see how the beams sit in relation to the wall. Kind regards Tom Rusk
