To fit flue down 1930's semi chimney - we have a gas flue insitu now and would want one that is for a wood burner - we can supply the flue but if the person wants to supply this also thats ok - the reason I have chosed a builder to do the work as rated people do not give a tradesman to do this particular job on their listings - if you do not do this please can you advise someone who can - thanks
No stars - maybe 1 if I am generous for turning up to quote - as he never got back with price for him doing the job! it seems a lot of so called tradesmen only want to take a job that is either easy or it seems they can make money from people not knowing what they are talking about - obviously I do! waste of my time staying in for him.

The bannister and stair case needs replacing in the hall and landing. The skirting boards up the stairs also need replacing/smoothing as the dog as chewed chunks out of them Skirting boards less than a metre long need to be fitted either side of the fireplace in the living room

Very friendly local builder. Quoted immediately and then confirmed once he had priced up the materials completely. Turned up when required and kept area clean and tidy and completed a quality job. Would recommend to anyone.

Install 2 airbricks to front and 2 airbricks to rear of terraced property. Chimney above second bedroom needs attention - causing a damp patch on ceiling.
This is a builder who compensates for all those so-called builders out there. He does a great job for a fair price, turns up when he says he will, does the work with minimum fuss and cleans up after. He is quiet, respectful and, as a female customer I found him willing to explain what needs to be done in simple and exact terms. He is even prepared to turn down work if he thinks it is not necessary. I am very glad to have discovered him and will definitely use him again. I am also glad I found this site - a fantastic website and one I wish had been around years ago. I will definitely be recommending it to other people.
