To remove part of a non load bearing wall, and fit double, half glazed doors (approx 2m wide) in space. (Please note, this has previously been in this configuration, as it was previously an archway through to the kitchen.) To block up exisiting doorway.
I am absolutely delighted with the quality of work that has been completed. Peter is totally professional, courteous, prompt and reliable. In addition, the quality and finish of the work undertaken is superb! I would not hesitate to recommend both Peter and Colin, and have already passed on his details to my sister - surely this is the best recommendation I could offer! The quote was detailed and specific, and in fact, the bill was a little less than the estimate. Will contact again for future jobs!lydia

I own a dormer Bungalow, the upstairs landing and one bedroom floor are springy and the boards are springy/loose. I'd like the floorboards/panels fixing/replacing and at the same time i'd like to make sure the floor is strong enough to take the bath from the bathroom directly below it into the room above and make that the master bathroom, as it is currently a very small bedroom that we do not use, the room above already has an en-suite so already has water supply and waste in the room, and is adjacent to the outside wall.
I've previously had the back bedroom floors fixed, the beams had been cut out to install the central heating (half way through from the bottom?) and the beams were loose in the walls, so i'm not sure what we'll find when we lift the boards. But the room is in the centre of the pitch so i'm hoping it may not be as bad.
I can then change the downstairs bathroom into a shower room and utility.
Stuck to his quote, did a fast clean job exactly as I wanted it done.
We discussed the work and came to an accord on the best way forward.
I'd recommend him as a good tradesman, and cannot praise him enough.Neil

The work carried out by this firm was excellent, and the price was very reasonable.
They were extremely flexible, despite numerous alterations to my requirements, and maintained a positive ‘can do’ attitude to all my changes of mind and hurdles that were encountered. This contractor was always cheerful, friendly, professional and took pride in their work.
I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this member for any building work, and am glad that I have finally found a building firm that I can rely on.

I have two rooms, a bathroom 8' X 13' which we wish to be changed into a bedroom. It will need a new oak looking upvc window putting in. The walls need taking back to the brick and redoing it will need plug sockets putting in. I am not sure if we need the selling skimming we haven't talked about that yet.
The other room is 9' X 15' and is currently a bedroom, it has a chimney breast in which we want taking out and that will need supporting in the loft area, and there is a false celling already existing. then we want it dividing into two rooms, one becoming a bathroom 9' X 6, ish, plugs will need taking out, a new window going in replacing the existing one, it will need a radiator pluming in and of course the bathroom putting in and tiling doing.
The other part of bedroom is staying a bedroom but needs a window putting in, i don't think i need planning permission as it isn't overlooking anything but i'm sure you could advise me on that. It will also need to put a door in from the hall way. And some plugs putting in. there is already a radiator there which i dont think we need moving.
