Garage building and outbuilding construction in Kentish Town
"Their price was very competitive and they were good on the basic stuff but attention to detail wasn't great despite having detailed drawings and notes. They seemed to really rush things; we found we needed to check everything they had done at the end of each day and quite a few things had to be redone - tops of walls/fences didn't line up, shed doors jammed and scraped along the ground, a concrete slab was made the wrong size and had to be cut down, cheap and flimsy locks were installed where Chubbs were specified...
They wouldn't let us pay with a cheque in the post and demanded payment on the spot. We still weren't happy with some of the work but just wanted it to be over and done with. Months later we are still waiting for the Corgi paperwork despite regular calls to chase it up.
If you want a simple job done and don't mind too much about the finish then they'd probably be fine, but it felt like their main priority was to do the job as quickly as possible.

"i HAVE JUST RECENTLY FOUND OUT THAT THE COMPANY INVOLVED PUT IN THE WRONG WIRING TO MY FLAT AND THEY HAVE NOT EARTHED THESE SOCKETS AND NOW I AM HAVING TO ISOLATE THE THREE MAJOR SOCKETS BECAUSE I WILL HAVE TO KNOCK DOWN THE TWO WALLS WHICH THEY BUILT WHERE THERE SOCKETS ARE HOUSED.
