Replace kitchen ceiling - size of room is 18'8" x 9'3" (5.7m x 2.82m). Remove existing lath and plaster ceiling and put up a new one, including plastering.
Scott and his team put it 2new ceilings for us and replastered. We were very happy with the work which was done to a high standard and for a good price. We have an old house and after taking down the old ceilings/plaster, there were a couple of problems exposed such as wet bricks from a leaking roof. Despite the inconvenience to himself of having to delay the work, Scott explained these problems and gave us time to get in roofers. All in all a pleasure to work with and highly recommended!

PLEASE CONTACT ME INITIALLY BY EMAIL MESSAGE OR TEXT ONLY. I WILL THEN COME BACK TO YOU. Victorian terraced house with downstairs bathroom separated from kitchen by small utility area. Size of kitchen: 3.0m x 2.4m Size of Utility/bathroom: 3.1m x 2.3m Estimate required for the following work. Strip back old plaster and dig up floor in kitchen. Lay new slab for kitchen floor level with exiting bathroom floor. Plaster walls and repair plasterboard ceilings. Install 3 piece bathroom suite and plumbing. Fit kitchen units and worktop and plumbing. Electrical work – new cooker radial and sockets ring. (Lighting circuits are already in situ). Tiling walls and flooring. New door to bathroom. We would supply the kitchen units, appliances, bathroom suite and tiles. The layout and design of the bathroom and kitchen will be fairly straightforward but we are looking for work done to a high standard to match the renovation work that has already been done on this house. In order to avoid wasting your time as well as ours please only respond to this posting if you have done work of this type before, are able to provide us with references (at the least phone numbers of previous clients ) and you have at least several ratings on this site. We would also expect to see public liability insurance and would anticipate signing a contract for mutual clarity & protection.
We were v unhappy with MConcept and manager Matthew Zablonski. Initially helpful in spelling out options in his quote. Once contracted it all changed when it came to delivery and management of the work. The schedule was 3 wks but overran by 2 ½. ‘Extras’ given to us at the end of the works included work that we had already verbally agreed to. Matthew difficult to locate and talk to – and on several occasions we found him verbally aggressive and impolite when we tried to discuss problems. Not professional.

I'd like to expand my downstairs back window from a small c.75x45cm window to a much larger c. 130x155cm window to overlook the back garden from the kitchen. The house is Victorian, so I'd like the window to be in keeping with the rest of the house - i.e. wooden frames, not uPVC. Glass should be double glazed. The window could be a number of styles, e.g. sash/casement and doesn't necessarily have to be able to open.
Andrew was excellent. He got in touch straight away and came round the same day to look around so he could give a quote. His quote was very competitive and he did the work on time, to specification and to a very high standard. I would happily use him again.

Penetrating damp has caused significant damage to an internal wall. The external cause has now been repaired, but there is damp in the wall and also the window frames. I need someone to assess the damage and quote for the job.
Excellent work, very reliable, trustworthy and punctual, kept me updated on the work throughout, including emailing me photos of the progress, which was impressive given the problems turned out to be much more complicated than initially thought. Clearly had knowledge of the damp problems, very experienced. Also did the work just before Christmas, struggled in through the snow. I recommend them highly.

Block off external doorway with cavity wall on ground floor extension of late Victorian terrace house. Blocks for inner leaf and reclaimed bricks (supplied) for external wall to match. Provide a rectangular opening in the new wall approx 160mm x 210mm and about 120mm above interior ground level for later installation of a cat flap. Match pointing, fit DPC, wall ties, cavity wall insulation (thermal insulation panel), etc. Please quote for labour and materials except for reclaimed bricks (yellow London stock) which is supplied.
Dane and his team were friendly and efficient. Arrived on time, happy to discuss work in detail and helpful in approach. It was only a small job but it was completed professionally where others might have cut corners. I would happilly recommend for further work.

What used to be an outside loo has been split into two. The bulk is a storage room accessed from outside, the rest a boiler cupboard accessed from inside. The roof leaks (due to leaking guttering, rotten fascia boards etc.). This needs fixing/replacing, and the interior or the storage area renovated (old plaster removed, brick work repaired, shelves fitting), and the boiler ‘cupboard’ re-plastered.
Work was carried out swiftly and to a high standard, whilst always being courteous and taking great care whilst moving materials through the property. Rena Construction were friendly and helpful throughout the process, and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

I have a small kitchen extension that was unfortunately built with only a single layer of brick. The room gets damp and mold grows on the walls in the winter. I would like to have the existing wall treated for mold. I'd like an inner wall built and insulation added between the two layers. I would also like the roof of this extension repaired or rebuilt, whatever is more practical. Additionally, the kitchen is badly ventilated. I would like to have an extractor fan and new window (replacement of existing window) added above the cooker and possibly the replacement of two ineffectual air bricks.
