Im not sure what this comes under, but I need a metal rail put across an open area I have do to a plaster board wall being taken down. We thought there was a cupboard but the bottom of this area was just plasterboard so it was removed. It would be better to come and see what I mean than tell you.
I had my hall way revamped with a balcany put into place. Also I had a garden that was a building site turned into a place you would want to spend your days.
They work very hard to please you and they always make sure the area is clean before leaving. i would recommend them highly, Jennifer and PeterPeter
Reinstating a doorway that has been blocked up and blocking up the other doorway: it is not a load-bearing wall. Preparing areas for plastering (we have a plasterer). Central heating pipes have been run through the blocked up doorway so they will need re-routing too.
We are renovating a house slowly so a few further jobs could follow over the coming year.
Small balcony over the porch needs re-felting (and new timber) and to be connected to a drain pipe already in place.
We have had a lot of tradesman working on our house over the past year - David and his colleague were by far the most punctual, friendly and tidy and did the job to a standard far exceeding my expectations. David went above and beyond the initial job scope and it was reasonably priced. I would use his services again without feeling the need to shop around. Joanna
Planning permission, design and specifications in place. Need a very quick turn of quotation.
Josh and his team have completed our kitchen extension project . The project comprised removal of internal and external walls, construction of the extension with flat roof, construction of utility room and bathroom, installation of under floor heating through out the ground floor and landscaping.
Josh and his team are very reliable. The team has always turned up on time and when it was required worked long hours and weekends to complete the works.
The work produced was high quality I work as a civil engineer with number of architects in my office. Josh has very helpful and understanding to accommodate our high expectations in both quality and attention to details. We had to change few things from the originally agreed scope of works. Josh again was very helpful in implementing these changes.
We have already recommended JGA Construction to our friends and colleagues.

Carpets need to be removed.

This is a large job; after 4 weeks all original work requested finished to the highest standard. Now, I asked for some additional work, and this is being done with the same efficiency, reliability and the highest standard. No time is wasted, every penny is accounted for and best of all the workmanship is the very best I have seen in a long time. Mario and his men are polite, helpful and cheerful - I recommend them very strongly.Judith
Cut out rear wall to put in french doors to garden. Structual support work for the chimney breast. Electrics and plumbing for re-configured kitchen. Fit kitchen and tiling.
8 very stressful weeks with residual problems which remained unsolved. The boiler which had to be re-position as part of the kitchen refit has not been put back properly and in fact after having the boiller serviced by a separate CORGI registered engineer recently we have been told that they have created £600 of damage and rendered the unit dangerous.
During the build period we went away for a week to escape to only find on our return that the builders had also taken a week off in our absence. Clearly they were aware of our return date and we found the builders in the house working on the Saturday. After a 4am start to get home that day we were not best pleased and had to go and spend the rest of the day with family to avoid the noise.
It was not helpful that one of their workers who turned up at the house every morning at 8am did not have a good grasp of English and therefore was hard for us to communicate any issues/ queries we had. The main English speakers usually turned up after we had left for work.
To provide some balance, the tiling was well done and all in all the final product looks good. The issue was the execution and sadly the subsequent damage made to the boiler.
On balance, I would be reluctant to recommend them.Howard
