"Turned up to install new fireplace, but left job incomplete (got a far as smashing out old hearth leaving nasty jagged edge, and drilling a couple of holes in the wall) and not heard from him since. Not responding to messages. Completely at a loss to understand the reasons behind it as he came round beforehand to assess the job and we laid all the fireplace sections out on the floor for him to look at..... Very odd behaviour. Would not recommend AT ALL!"

"A simple 2 week job (according to HWSC) still going after 14 weeks and only 50% complete at that stage. Each week brought new delays - primarily around the ability of the firm to provide suitable resources to do the job but also on occasion to supply the skills needed. Had no option but to cancel, disappointing that even after weeks of issues payment in full for the work performed to-date was requested. Now finishing job and rectifying mistakes made with different firm and the difference is incomparable. HWSC provide excellent up-front service and transparent breakdown of costs they simply are not resourced nor have all of the skills to do the work."
