Jacek was excellent to work with; he delivered everything he promised, his finishing was superb and he left the place immaculate. Definitely use again and would highly recommend him.

I'm not sure
is a 1 bed flat. i want to remove existing kitchen and make into a bedroom. i want the bedroom made into kitchen with new kitchen fitted. also want small area of plasterboard wall removed.
I was a bit disappointed with the finish. Not up to the standard I expected.

we have double doors that have a wooden panel above which stops the whinch system coming out into the street, we want to make this panel into mini double doors by adding hinges to each side, and putting a bolt style lock so that we can use the whinch for our deliveries

We have a ground floor flat in SE1 where I wish to remove an internal coal bunker from the entrance hallway. It is built of breeze block walls and cast concrete roof and floor, less than 1 metre square. I would like a professional to demolish and remove the heavy materials, leaving me to redecorate the area.

In open plan living/cooking area, removal of existing kitchen including fitted units, granite work top and splash back, electrical appliances, island containing oven, hob and extractor. (All gas pipes and water pipes to remain accessable but sealed off as appropriate in readiness for the fitting of a re-configured kitchen, to form a second project to take place later in 2008.) Removal of 4 inch raised, tiled stage on which current kitchen situated to create new, sinlge level living space. Then to lay a solid wood oak floor (as a continuation of existing oak floor in living area). Finishing of walls and ceiling to a high standard and restoration (if necessary) of sash window, currently obscured behind fitted kitchen. (The a glazed sash window is already in place, but the state of repair is not known.) Fitting of skirting board where appropriate. Fitting of sockets into walls. Of great improtance in this job is that all joins between walls and floor must be very tight. Also the waste stack must be boxed off very neatly and any holes around water and gas pipes must be sealed using wire wool if necessary. This flat is particularly vulnerable to mice infestation: the current very poor finishing behind and underneath the existing kitchen is the principal cause of these repeated infestations, which are the primary motivation for commissioning this project. Finally, a feature of this job is that the flat is on the third floor of the building and there is no lift. It may be necessary to contract separately with a company who can send a team of people to clear away the debris of the existing kitchen over one or two days.
Erik and his team did a really good job on the first half of our kitchen refit, which involved pulling out old kitchen, opening up a bricked up window and laying a new floor. The finish was high quality and the cost competitive. We were sufficiently happy that we invited Erick to do the next stage of the job, without asking for other quotes. Erik was contracted to finish the job within 5 weeks. That deadline has long passed and the job is not finished. During one 4 week period, Erik/his team were here for fewer than 4 days in total. Communication has been poor: we have not been kept up-to-date with progress on delivery or work. In the last week, with much whip-cracking we have secured the attendance of one worker for two days, and two workers for one day. The job is now nearing completion, but we still have no sink, no running water. We have decided to cut our losses and find an alternative kitchen fitter to complete the job. Erik quotes very competitively and is capable of very good work, but his performance overall has been so unreliable that sadly we feel that we cannot rate him in any area.

I've put this job up on here before, already had a few quotes so if you've been around to see it before, I apologise. I've lost your numbers and wasn't sure when I could find the time to get it done. Basically, I have a fake wall between the dining room and lounge that I want removed. I don't think it's even plaster, I think its just two big bits of wood that's been place in between an existing arch, which is still there. I can see the screws which are holding the boards in place. Ideally I would like someone to come and do it this weekend. On street parking can be arranged.
