1. Replacing an old tired kitchen with a new one. Preparation for this involveds the possible removal of a chimney breast, removal of a concrete hearth. There will be some plumbing neccesary to change location of the sink waste pipe. We are also need to replace floorboards throughout Kitchen/Diner. 2. Second job (possibly handled by same contractor) - some re-modellling to bathroom. Removing 'built-in bath and 'hidden' shower pipes and taps and replacing bathroom suite/ making good etc... 3. Also need some outside work to re-render garden walling and steps
Marianna and Dimitri were helpful and efficient and their team did a great job. They finished our bathroom work (wall tiling, floor tiling, shower installation and remodelling of inset mirrors) to a very high standard and I am fussy! We are already talking to them about the next project. I have no hesitation in reocmmending them to others.

I am looking fro someone local to knock out a corner cupboard in a bedroom and make good the walls and ceiling with plastering.
This is the first time I have met and used Kris (through Rated). His work was excellent, fast and very reasonably priced. He also came back to do a very small job the next week - which nobody else wanted to do! - and will hopefully be helping me again in the future on something larger, now that I have seen the quality of his work through these two smaller jobs. Very happy to recommend Kris!

An internal garage conversion - town house lower ground to open plan space- two walls removed at side and back of garage and one new wall built- stud walls/lboarded out, ceiling and new floor.- some carpentry, two radiators moved and maybe a few hot water pipes.
Efficient, reliable and trustworthy. I have used them twice - for a larger build earlier this year and recently they finished two walls while I was on holiday.

I need a structural engineer + builder to take down an internal wall inside my kitchen.

Updated : The flu is 50cm deep and 140cm wide. Initial thoughts are that the load bearing beam would need to span 230cm and would be supported by one of the side walls of the original flu and another wall which will need to be rebuilt to become load supporting. But these are just intial thoughts and we'd really appreciate some advice from a professional. Original : Removal of chimney stack in ground floor maisonette. Will need to install a load bearing beam to support chimney stack in upstairs flat. Please note that the property was built in the 1960s and the flue is bigger than in Victorian/Edwardian propertys.
