Front steps on Victorian house in Peckham in need of repair. Cracked and holey concrete steps to be filled and finished, probably paint finish rather than stone or tiles.
Kostadin was excellent. He provided a quote incredibly swiftly and began work without delay. He advised on how best to renovate our steps and carried out the work to a high standard. He was extremely reliable and punctual. I am really happy with the end result and would highly recommend Kostadin to anyone.duncan

If you are looking for an honest, trustworthy, quality and professional builder then hire Nicolae. He gave our house a complete makeover and I'd be more than happy to recommend him for any work. He has an in-depth understanding of every improvement you can possibly do to your house.
Despite his tight schedule, he worked to our needs in the house and was more than happy to go out of his way to ensure we were satisfied. Our kids even developed a great relationship with him and his staff along the way.Tayo
Updated : There is also a light switch on the wall that would need moving or removing. Original : Our bathroom is seperate from our toilet and we'd like to knock the wall through & fill in a door to make them one room. There is a radiator on the wall so that would need moving.
The wall is not a supporting wall. It is roughly 1.7m by 2.4m. We would be re-tiling etc ourselves, so the quote is just for knocking down, filling in, removing of rubble etc and moving the radiator. Thanks!
Mario was really friendly, courteous and easy to work with. He was always punctual and finished the job in good time. We would commend him to you!Rose
We believe that we need our rear wall and chimney repointed as well as guttering cleared and some minor repairs to the roof. The building in 3 stories and the job will likely require scaffolding.
Our experience of David and his team was excellent. They completed to work quickly and efficiently, supplying photos of the roof work that we could not see from the ground. After the roofing work was complete we asked David to carry out some carpentry work, which we were also very pleased with. I would definitely recommend Norwood Roofing and would call on them again if we require any future workEleanor
We would like to knock through from our kitchen to our living room. There is an RSJ above it and identical house next door has done the same thing with no problems. The hole will need to be plastered.
Quick, efficient and stuck to his word. Chris did a great job and we'll definitely use him again.Sophie

I hired Rafal to do some renovations on my flat, general odd jobs and painting in preparation for selling the place.
I have to say that he did a fantastic job. After being let down/quoted some eye watering prices by other people he came in at short notice and I am delighted with the results. Certainly in terms of timekeeping, respect for the property, standard of finish and overall result I am delighted and will certainly be using Rafal in the future for any other jobs. I've already recommended him to the estate agent who is selling the flat.
He's a great guy and will not let you down.

Cutting a hatch into the ceiling to provide access to roof cavity, boarding out the loft space (for storage), installing a light and fitting access ladder. Making good the hatchway and ceiling. The house has a London/valley roof so the loft space is quite small (we want access to only one half of it) - approx 9 x 12 foot
Very friendly, reliable and professional. Would recommend them.Ian

We are getting rid of an old hot water tank in the kitchen and want to knock down the walled cupboard it is currently housed in to open up the room.
The plumber we are working with will remove the old tank, but the wall has some electrics in it currently.
Once the wall is removed, we will also require some plastering.

A survey on an extension that is acting as living room for a lower ground floor flat has been flagged up as being non-professionally built. The roofing is sagging in the middle and there are no vents built into the walls. We would like a quote to have the extension, particularly the roof, made good.
