V&M partners have recently started works for my ground floor extension. To date, Michael and his brother have proven reliable and extremely helpful in the design and project set up. The project is expected to last a further 6 weeks, so I will provide a further update on value and quality at that time. So far, so good.

My first floor shower has a loose waste tray, and the water has leaked through the ceiling in the kitchen down below (filtering its way through a hairline crack). I need a builder to open up the kitchen ceiling to ascertain damage (the tray is not accessible from the shower itself), fix the area causing a leak and to make good on the decorations.
I experienced a leak which occurred every time I took a shower. Nico efficiently organised the first site visit to diagnose the problem. I had already gotten a previous quote for the work, which enabled me to ascertain that his rate was competitive. Nico was very punctual, tidy, and dealt with the problem effectively. The leak appears to have been fixed successfully and I further have a six month guarantee on the work performed. I would not hesitate to use his services again.

I have a problem with a recurring leak in my kitchen. There is water coming through the ceiling and I can't identify where it's coming from. The kitchen is on the top floor so it may be a leak in the roof. The overflow pipe from the boiler also runs above the point where the leak is, so it could also be from a hole in the pipe. Two plumbers have tested for carbon monoxide but have found no trace. I have also had a roofer round twice, who couldn't find the source. There is limited access above the kitchen ceiling so an access panel may need to be created. The leak appeared to have stopped for a month but then started again when it rained 2 weeks ago (so I assumed it was from the roof), however there is still water pouring through. Please get in touch if you think you might be able to help. Thanks
Aaron did a great job - very reliable and hardworking. Also tidied up after himself. Would definitely book him again.

ceiling was damaged due to leak from flat above. Ceiling needs to be repaired
Friendly and reliable service. Easy to contact and they stay on top of the job. Turned up on time and completed early. Very tidy workers. Did a neat job and even threw in a few extras which were much appreciated. Good at explaining the work they would do and how they would do it.

DRM were very quick to quote and start work. They were polite, efficient and professional at all times. The usual communication problems exist with builders of a different language; but this can be overcome with thorough discussions and explanations. Overall they come highly recommended!

I'm not sure
Put up a partition wall creating two bedrooms out of one large one.Build an enuite shower.Convert a partition wall between kitchen and living room to create an open plan feel kitchen with a work top space. I have not obtained planning permision. But as work is mainly putting up partition and removing a partition I was informed that planning permision was not necessary.
Job done was to very high standards. He takes his integrity very serious and is committed to agreed contract and dates. Eventhough work ran over slightly (scheduled for 4 weeks finshed in 4 weeks plus 3 days) he worked dligently to the last minute. Advice: Make sure that all expectations are agreed upfront to avoid any misuderstandings upon completion of works.

I have an internal wall separating two bedrooms which we are looking to soundproof. I am unsure of the current construction of the wall, but it is an ex-council maisonette, and seems to be frame and a sheet of plasterboard only. Would need to remove the existing board, figure out the best method of insulating the wall and re-plaster. I will repaint the wall myself. Wall is standard height, approx 3m in length. Timing: Within 2 weeks
