Old Moat, M20

Under £250
Hi, Our kitchen sink is metal and sits in the middle of the countertop. Water has run from the sink behind the countertop and the countertop has sank down, peeling away from the wall and leaving a hole (the wall is about 2 inches away from the back if the sink). We would like someone to replace or fill just this section of countertop if possible; if not to replace the whole of the countertop. Thank, Sally
Excellent job

We may have damp inside the chimney and think it could be addressed through a rain cap and lining the chimney. An air brick may also be required where the fireplace has been covered.

DO NOT USE! quoted a good price and turned up to do work on time. work was done to a poor standard, lots of bits were missed. upon completion he advised to make list of "niggles" and he would be back on a set date. heard from him the day before to confirm but he did not turn up. he would not answer calls or return messages, he even hung upon me when i called him from a number he didnt know was mine. he has left us with piles of rubbish, doors not hung, a leaking radiator and big patches of rooms not painted. all this will cost time and money to put right. i say again, DO NOT USE THIS TRADESMAN. he will let u down.

I found Gary and Mark to be very reliable, friendly and trustworthy. They did a fantastic job and at a very reasonable price plus some extras at no further cost - nothing was too much trouble for them. They have totally transformed my house, and I will definitely ask again if I need any more work doing. I absolutely recommend them 100%.

I've just been granted planning permission for a 1-storey side/front extension to consist of 2 bedrooms and a small bathroom. Building control drawings have already been sent for approval, so building can begin ASAP. The total size is approximately 30msq, and involves the clearing of a carport, and rendering of the house as well as extension.

We need a ceiling replaced in a commercial property. Just plasterboarded, skimmed, and two ceiling lights pendants plus 5/10 spots. The area is 4.5 x 7.5 area There is currently a suspended ceiling - imagine dated tiles/metal strips etc. WE would ideally like the ceiling to go over this current ceiling as the property is rented. However if this not possible then no problems. We are looking for "quick fix" as opposed to built for a life time!! Needs to be started asap. Many thanks Carole

Unsold Job, Updated Details : The area is not the whole wall but just a small corner. Original : I have an issue with damp entering in the kitchen area where i have recently knocked down a partition wall and removed a bathroom. The wall have been rendered with using a waterproof additive and moister appears to be entering from the outer wall at ground level. An area of the concrete has been removed and waterproofed to ensure moisture wasn't entering from the ground below and moisture is still coming in where the wall meets the ground. Hope this makes sense, basically it's a damp issue but not sure quite how it is coming in. The cost really depends on the diagnosis, there is also a damp issue in the other corner which will need looking at once the kicthen units have been removed. Timing: ASAP

I don't think a builder is the correct description, we're just looking for an odd job man to do a couple of things around the flat e.g. put up a coat rail, polyfiller some holes, re-affix a toilet seat etc.
