here is a large jagged horizontal crack displayed across my wall. Also when touched, the wall is spongy. The crack is displayed in the plaster of the wall. Also, my radiator (attached to said wall) detached itself the other night but has since become reattached to the bracket but this is only a temporary solution. I have been advised that I need a new radiator as well as having the wall seen to. Timing: I am flexible on start date
I was very impressed with Dave's work. He contacted me with 15 minutes of me registering on this website. We arranged a time for him to see what I needed doing and provided me with a qoute which wasn't far off from the budget I registered with on here. He completed the job in less than 8 hours and he tidied the place up after he finished. I was so impressed with his work, I asked for a pack of his business cards. Will definately use him again in the future and will recommend him to friends/family.

Contacted me within a short period of posting job. Turned up when they said they would to give a quote. Did the job on the day they said they would do it. Very polite and appreciated me giving them the opportunity to do the work.

I have a downstairs toilet and cloakroom divided by a plasterboard wall. I would like to knock down the wall so as to make the bathroom part larger. I have bought a new sink with cupboard and a radiator which will need installing. Some plastering will be required as well as taking up and refitting some laminate flooring. I would also like to have a cupboard built to store the coats.
Sam has done all our building work since his first job for us last year. He has a very professional attitude, is totally trustworthy and honest.His work is excellent and he leaves no mess behind him! He has done quite a few jobs for us this year and I have no hesitation in highly recommending him.

there is damp in the top corner of my back bedroom. the damp is affecting the window wall and the adjoining chimney breast wall
I have had a problem with damp for well over 2 years and numerous roofer's and tradesmen fobbed me off by completing work which never solved the problem. I decided to try Rated People. P&P builders got in touch with me approx 10 mins after sending an e-mail to enquire about the job. I arranged a time for Paul to come and he was there as arranged. Paul did a thorough investigation of the damp area, he went into my loft space (which is accessed by a tiny area), he then went onto the roof and did a thorough inspection and took approx 6 photographs of area's on my roof that required some attention and then duly explained exactly what he found. Paul gave a really good quote and did the work straight away. Only time will tell if my damp problem has been resolved, but Paul was a really nice genuine man and he has stated that any problems he will come back, free of charge and look again but he stated he was 99.99999999% sure that he had found the source of my 'damp problem'. I would definitely use him again and recommend him to friends.
