The work was carried out to a very high standard, and I was particularly impressed when Alan sourced some roof slate that was much more in character with the stone walls than the slate I had chosen. Alan and his team were a pleasure to have around, nothing was too much trouble and they always left the site clean and tidy at the end of the working day. Sag of existing pvc window frame indicates replacement of lintel(s) over lounge window needed. Construction is solid brickwork (no cavity) and there may be an inner and outer lintel.
The response to my enquiry was quick and and an early meeting on site arranged. I was given clear recommendations of what needed to be done and given a detailed estimate. When accepted , the start date agreed was adhered to . The site was kept tidy and all work was carried out completely to my satisfaction. Also , despite the need for considerable unexpected additional work , the job was completed on time. I would not hesitate to use this contractor again.
