Job To replace a ceiling in the lounge

Comment Mark made an execellent jon in replacing the ceiling, plastering and painting for my huge size lounge. He also brought a certified electrician to fit the ceiling spotlights who also made a very good job. Both finished the work in time, very punctual and left the place very tidy. Well recommended. C S

Budget Under £500

Job Front door porch is supported by 2 wooden columns. Both are rotting at the base and probably need replacing, as rot is too deep to fill.

Comment They reviewed the job on Thursday, prepared the wood for the new porch columns over the weekend, and arrived on Tuesday morning to remove the rotten columns and fit the new ones. A very good job, carried out efficiently and with the minimum of fuss. Guys were friendly and polite. Grant

Job ceiling- 20'X20' in lounge only whole ceiling involved nothing to be removed from the ceiling.

Budget Under £2,000

Job We have taken care of building notice etc. Back chimney stack requires clean removal & gallows bracketed support in attic. Front chimney been removed but requires gallows support too. Need the waste to be disposed of, then the two back rooms made good after but not necessarily to a final finish. We're having further work done this summer-reconfiguration of interior layout & kitchen extension to rear & would welcome an estimate for these jobs too, although prioritise chimney emoval at present. Seeking estimates asap please. Builders will require full insurance & references. Many thanks!
