For living come dining room approx 7m * 4m:
1. Replace front door and air tight
2. Clear away the inner door and wall above
3. Knock through the wall part that is false wall into the dining room and leave an opening
4. Build a short wall to waist height at end of current passageway
5. Remove 2 radiators and refit alternative solution of vertical radiators on more effective walls
6. Move existing light switch
7. Fix external light
8. Fit new flooring throughout (probably wood laminate)
9. Replaster as necessary and re paint room
Okay work done to complete job but attention to detail not great for our couple of days work. E.g. A socket was not reworked correctly, edging of flooring not completed neatly.

Hi - I would like someone to come and look at my kitchen vent. The flat is in a house built c.1900. There has been damp visible on the flat above and they are requesting to block off the vent. I would like some advice on this. And then the work done.

Replace patio doors with folding sliding doors - this will involve some replacement of breeze block as we know the sliding doors require to be mounted on brick.Removal of internal sunroom doors. Would also like a quote for modification of internal storage cupboard, and laying of decking on small tiered patio outside however these last 2 items are not essential as part of the main job. Approx Measurements Sunroom 9ft square. Patio 18 feet x 11 fee
James and his team did an fantastic job on our sunroom conversion and decking, turning our vision into exactly what we hoped for. They were extremely professional, courteous and tidy, if I had to find 1 criticism it would be a slightly slow start and finish, but this was due to other jobs starting and ending, and other factors out of their control and completely understandable when running a building company . They were happy to do several extra jobs (which would have been big for us!) at no extra cost and got me out of a sticky situation, returning an awning which needed a van, saving me a lot of money on a courier. All in all, I would strongly recommend them - we have just asked them to quote for another job, so that says it all really.

Extend and renovate bathroom by breaking and rebuilding wall, installing a new suite, shower, tiles and cupboard. Build a new bathroom downstairs using dry walling, installing a new basin and toilet, tiles and adding a door. Skim ceiling and walls of 2 double bedrooms, adding a new cornice and soundproof a wall in each. Insert an RSJ above the old rear door to increase the size of the opening to approx 1.5m to increase the opening to the rear kitchen. Additional renovation items to be discussed. (A new kitchen will also be required.) Responses required asap.
Initially we asked Mirek to: Extend and renovate the bathroom, installing a new suite, shower, tiles. Build a new bathroom. Skim ceilings, re-do cornices and soundproof walls. Insert an RSJ above the old rear door to the kitchen. The quote we received was better than anyone else and the impression you get upon meeting Mirek is a manager with experience. We were not disappointed! The two young tradesmen that did most of the work were tremendous; efficient, neat and quality unsurpassed. In our opinion, the guys you need on site.
We also had additional work done, inlcuding: The garage roof, kitchen tiling on the floors and walls, lighting, general carpentry, built-in cupboard, painting and decorating. The quote again was good, the work great.
Mirek is a man who can be trusted, the service was very good, the quality excellent. Highly recommended!

25 sq m ceiling needs to be replaced with new ceiling boarding. The existing light fittings to be replaced with recessed spotlights. The whole plastered and made good, and ideally, painted, but we can source our own painter if necessary.
Good work, done on time, and some additional electrical work I requested completed satisfactorily too.
