Updated : This has nothing to do with a chimney, the jobs are all repair work to existing building. We are not providing materials. Original : This is general repair required to the following:-
1) Repair leaking joint on front gutter.
2) Ridge Tiles on porch need re-bedding.
3) Lead Flashing needs re-pointing where kitchen meets house.
I would recommend to my all my family and friends. Good neat and tidy jobs carried out. ThanksKaren
Hi

Including making good inside reveals and plastering and render to outside.I have kept the budget low as i know how much tradesman have to pay for leads
full and thorough quotation done will definitely be using for any future work i have come in

This is for a new pitched/tiled porch roof cut into the front roof on my bungalow to form an open porch sitting on 2 columns (the columns are already in place - concrete filled grp colums with a central wood post which can be used to key to the roof that is constructed(see picture). The area of the roof in front of the bungalow will be approx 8' wide x 4' depth from the front wall of the bungalow and the pitch of the roof approx 3' high. I therefore envisage a timber frame/support between the columns and house with several roof supports/trusses built on top. The roof then tiled/capped with leaded/other gulleys into the guttering. The flat underside of the roof to be timber sheet with upvc sheet covering. Envisage the front apex to be similarly timber sheet with upvc shiplap covering. As an alternative would consider whether the front apex should be brick/brick effect but this may require different support/construction (?). Open to suggestions and advice on this please. Roof tiles/capping already on site along with guttering - happy to source and make available other required materials.
David made an excellent job of building my front porch.
He worked from only a sketch and similar photo but produced exactly what I wanted. I would recommend him Michael

Hi.
I am initially looking for someone who is multi skilled and can come and advise (& quote) me exactly what repairs are needed to my home.
Some of the items that do need attention are:
* Repair to outside masonry (brick replacement / repair to pointing etc)
* Replacement of damaged tiles on roof & pointing (single storey building)
* Advise on need to replace / repair damp damaged patio door sill
* Resolve / advise on damp issue on interior wall - related to patio door. (Possible replastering?)
* Replace or repair dripping pipe on bathroom sink
Alot of these are small jobs but I need guidance on what is needed to resolve the damp / masonry issues.
If you think you can help on some or all of these points please contact me
Many thanks

I have a living room which is an extension, completed in 1977, 4m by 5.6m internal size Cavity walls, brick with tiled roof.
I want to extend above this room to create a badroom and ensuite but I do not know whether the foundations are up to the job or not. The rest of the house was built in 1953 and would need a corridor fitted to allow access to the newly built bedroom.
