Tiled work top to be cut to size to fit new electric hob
David arrived on time with a smile on his face and has a very pleasant demeanor. He worked continuously and meticulously and even took the old hob away so that i didn't have to dispose of it. He deserves a five star "plus" rating!! Many thanks David i will call you again when i have more work for you and would highly recommend you to anyone who needs a highly skilled proffessional who is willing to turn his hand to any job required. I hope you keep busy, you deserve it. Kind regards Sandie

Remove load bearing wall from kitchen into single skin utility. Insualte, board out and make good for new kithcen. patch repair section of flat roof to utility. install combi boiler and new rads throughout property (provided by ourselves) remove immersion tank and knock out cupboard in bathroom. Reposition toilet once cupboard removed. completely re-tile bathroom, floor and walls. skim over selected walls to property. Fit new kitchen
A '3 week' job has turned into 13 weeks and still not finished!! The quality of work is incredibly poor. 3 times we have had to have walls replastered due to shocking work and it's still not good. Carpentry is horrendous. This carpenter also ruined a breakfast bar by gluing on it. Building rubbish still in garden to date. Farr uses just 'anyone' to do work. He has had 95% of cost. Ruined furniture, broken hoover, damaged brand new boiler, can't contact him. Disgraceful behaviour and has made me ill over it

SIDE EXTENSION TO BUNGALOW APPROX 20SQ METRES. ONE BEDROOM WITH EN-SUITE AND SMALL WALK IN WARDROBE. TWO WINDOWS TO BEDROOM AND ONE WINDOW IN EN-SUITE
My job was started in early June 2010 and I was told the job would take approx. 8 weeks. The job actually took 17 weeks. I was not happy!! I spent countless days waiting in for workmen to arrive and they never turned up. I was not contacted to inform me that the men were not turning up, I would have to phone a2z to find out what was happening. Workmen would arrive to do what they had to do, and find they could not carry on because another workman had not finished their jobs properly eg. contractor turned up to put fascia boards on, but roof timbers had not been finished, so he went away and I had to wait SEVERAL weeks to have the soffits and fascia boards fitted.I was phoning David at a2z at least once a day sometimes more chasing up the job. Be aware that a2z employ subcontrators to do their electical and plumbing work. The contractor he employed to do the electrical and plumbing work, got a friend to do some of the plumbing work, and we ended up with 2 radiators that leaked. The carpet in my dining room area was damaged during the build and at the moment I am in dispute with a2z over the damage. I would not recommend a2z to anyone. I am satisfied with the extension and the work that a2z workmen did, but I am disappointed with the work that the sub-contractors carried out. I was continuosly let down by both a2z and the sub-contactors not arriving when they told me they would be there, and many, many days and weeks were lost beacuse of this.
