not chimney repairs, but some stonework replacement and pointing to an outside wall. 2 or 3 stone blocks need replacing (stonework eroded) + pointing to complete the work.

There is a large window between our lounge and dining room. We would like to get rid of this and knock the wall through to create an arch (or rectangle) so that there is a free flow between the rooms (still keeping them separate).
Simon did exactly what we asked him to do, exactly when he said he would do it, and for a reasonable price. He has also agreed to come back to do some joinery work for us. He is personable and easy to communicate with and we have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

Please quote for the following work to a 2 bed end terrace house in Harrogate. The property exterior is stone on the ground floor and render on the first floor.
Requirements: Remove decaying render and pointing from front, rear and gable-end (side) of the property. Supply and install new Bellcast beads between the ground and upper floor, replace render, including water proofing agent.
Re-point with sand/lime mortar mix, flush pointing, replacing weathered stone as necessary. Re-seal front door casing and all window casings. Carry out repair works to chimney and re-haunch completely to prevent damp ingress.
