He tends to be hard working and gains your trust at the start. Then work starts to slow down once he got part of the money from me. Then eventually don't come back to finish the job. Beware of this tradesman. He goes by the name of Burgoyne. He ran off with my £2500.

its really a damp and timber specialist i need as i have had a specialist survey done and just wanted some more quotes to find a better deal. the work consists of a silicone damp course,removal of defective plaster and replastering,possible repairs to roof coverings as high moisture readings at breastsummer beam,maybe defective slates or lead flashing. exposing ends of built in timbers. there is also moisture runs to chimney stack. external gutter needs replaced too,ive been quoted £3500 plus vat which takes it to £4200

We have a house in a terrace row in Belfast that we moved in to in September 2012. Since then we've noticed spreading cracks in the lounge ceiling and think this is due to a chimney breast not being shored up correctly (something that was done prior to our moving into the property and which our surveyor appears to have missed in his report!!); as such, we're keen to have someone look at the work, give us a quote and hopefully complete the job before ceiling falls down around us!
