The frost has caused pointing damage to the side of the chimney and there are now crows nesting in the hole. Urgent help needed
Clean working, using suitable equipment. Honest about pricing and how to do the job. Very impressed with time scale and the understanding of Britannia in the need for urgent work.
ThanksLiz
Our garage is currently converted into half a snug and half a garage via a stud wall. We would like to convert the both 'rooms' into one living room. We would like french doors at the back and a double glazed window at the front the width of the current garage door
Gave a competitive quote, started when he said he would and finished on time. Had a great friendly team and came in on budget. What more can you ask for.
Id recommend the company to my friends.Mark
Existing chimney-will need liner. Simple inglenook type fireplace required, with stone hearth and plastered lining.
Mr Farrar has been very efficient and reliable in making appointments to view the job, in delivering his estimate and finding out about current legislation etc for chimney work. Although I have not appointed a builder yet, so far I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Farrar.Philippa
Steve carried out the specified work (along with a few extra jobs) within the original quoted cost. He considers attention to detail & carries out the work in a professional & safe manner. I would not hesitate to contact him in the future to obtain a quotation for other works & would also be happy to recommend him to others. The work took slightly longer than envisaged; however with a 2 hour travel each day this is understandable. All works were also external & the weather did not help progress. Graham
We have an understairs cupboard in the kitchen which has a door height of 39 inches. We would like the door space heightened to 63 inches with a lintel in place as it is a load bearing wall.
