I know that this job isn't underpinning/foundations but nothing else seemed to fit the job we need doing. Erect scaffolding to rear of house. Hack off render (tyrolene) to gable end. Remove and replace lintels and cill from upstairs window. Make good plaster internally round window. Then re-render gable end with sand and cement. Other tyrolene at side of house may need work but would be replaced with tyrolene not sand and cement. Paint all external walls at rear of house.

We are very pleased with the work completed - the kitchen and bathroom have been completely transformed! Nigel used a team of experts and he and his colleagues were very easy to talk to, were extremely understanding in dealing with an old person living in an old house and completely trustworthy. The only downside was that the work was delayed by a week and it took longer than expected.

Small job - just need some venetian wooden blinds attached to the ceiling around a bay window. 3 blinds, one 110cm wide and two 80 cm wide. The ceiling is thin plaster over some sort of ?fibreglass or plasterboard layer. I have my doubts over the capacity of the ceiling to hold the weight of the blinds, certainly with the supplied fixings. I suspect some sort of cavity screw or wall anchor will be required but have little experience with this.
