We have a small off-shot kitchen that comes off the back of our house into the dining room. We want the wall to be knocked down that splits the two rooms and a RSJ beam installed, so to join the two rooms and open up the kitchen as much as possible.
Would highly recommend. Really pleased with the job done, it was done quickly, and for a good price. Top blokes too!Tim
Bungalow property chimney goes through bedroom approx 7m in total. May be some other joinery work required
Mark was competitive with his price. Turned up on time and kept me informed at all times as to any problems that may delay completion. Work was excellent. Would recommend him highly. Very pleased.Stan
In the process of buying a property, but wish to have someone look over it for damp, etc. There will be more work available after with a large amount of tiling to be done and wooden flooring to be laid and possibly some electrical work as well.We live in Hertfordshire and will be travelling up to Sheffield within the the next couple of weeks, so we would like to arrange a meet with anyone on a Saturday.Flooring to be laid in 4 rooms, kitchen and bathroom to be tiled and possibly extra electrical sockets to be placed in five rooms, but as I have stated our main starting point is the condition of the house regarding damp.
Many thanks
Denise
Drew (as he prefers to be called) is still working for us. He is a hard working and thoroughly trustworthy individual. We are renovating an old house for our daughter and three of her student friends to move into. Being unfamiliar with the building trade Drew has acted as our site foreman, advising us on a large number of jobs that have nothing to do the job for which we originally emplyed him for. He really can't do too much for you, he even helped us carry in some beds that we bought and even showed other tradesmen around while I was out. We have asked him to carry out other jobs and have had no fears about trusting him with the keys to the house when we go back to work next week. We are certainly impressed with the standard of his work so far, and will give another rating when all of the work is finished (this year, next year we will have more work for him)Rae Denise
Unsold Job, Updated Details : I live in an ex council house and my bathroom is very small (4'4''' x 8'7''). When the house was built in 1930 there was just a sink and bath but the room was extended by a previous owner to accommodate a toilet by giving up some space from the adjoining bedroom. The result is the toilet is on a different level to the rest of the floor - it looks like a raised box. I would like a builder to have a look at whether the flooring could be changed to just one level and provide a reasonable quote. Original : Bathroom is currently on two levels and I would like it to be on one.
