Crookes, S10

Under £500
Rear wall of old outhouse toilet is crumbling. Needs some form of support, either with another wall and ties or some form of metal work, also needs repointing and then ?rendering to protect from further weather damage. Have been let down and wanted this done before winter. Thanks
They implemented a good solution to a tricky job. Would use again.

We have had plans drawn and had building regs agreed to have an extension on the back of our terrace house. It currently has an offshot kitchen. We are wanting it taking to the width of the house and out 3 metres. Then we would have a kitchen diner that is open plan with bi-folding doors leading on to the rear garden. All electrics, plumbing and plastering will be needed. We will be needing a kitchen aswell so someone who could do all of these things from start to finish would be better.
DO NOT USE THIS TRADESMAN: Work on the roof deemed by building control to be a 'bodge-job' and 'appalling'. Reasons being:Pitch too shallow so water doesn't run off properly / tiles not correct / no lead flashing used / expanding foam to fill in the gaps between tiles / guttering doesn't meet down pipe/ velux windows damaged with no flashing kit. Since building control inspection Paul Wilcock has changed his number and is not contactable. Leaving us with a roof that pours with water every time it rains.

Quote required to provide one new habitable room, to comply with building regs, from the existing loft space (approx 25/30 sqaure metres) within a Victorian terrace. Stairs will be taken from space within existing bathroom. Velux window, insulation, electrics, radiator to be installed within new lc. Existing bathroom will require new floor and wall tiles. New doors and frames on stairs / bedroom / bathroom. Boiler may have to be moved to accomodate amendments.
Graham and his team completed the job on time and on budget. Initially I was very nervous due to the extent of the work but the team worked around me and had excellent communication at all times with Graham so I knew what to expect and when. Extremely happy with the quality of the building work couple of niggles a few weeks after but expected with the extent of work undertaken, they are all sorted now. Would, and have, recommended to others.

At present there is a toilet and small work shed at the back of the garage, that i would like to turn into a utility, there is also a covered genal between the house and garage that i would like updating.
The work carried out by this company was the best i'v used so far. The workmen were helpful, reliable, tidy workers and i will be recalling them for further work in the new year.

Replace rotting / deteriorating concrete window sills to teraced house in Crookes - Depending on costs, I would prefer to have them replaced, rather than repaired. They have been repaired previously and I don't want the problem to come back in a few years time.
