Comment Ronnie called me as soon as i put my job on the web site and came out the same night to look at the job and gave me a price, i called him a few days later when i had the materials needed to complete the job,he came out the same day, completed the job, was very friendly and done an excellent job and made sure everything was tidy before leaving... was delighted with the service i was given and would definitely recommend him to everyone :) elizabeth

Job We have damage to our open veranndah roof in the recent storms. Our insurance assessor has visited and recommended that all the polycarbonate panel, fittings and seals be replaced. There are 5 in all approx. 3m 90cm x 90cm. The insurers are happy for 35mm to replace the existing 10mm for added strength

Comment An adequate job done for an insurance storm damage claim on my veranda, but the fitting and quality was not as good as other similar work done recently. The panels arrived were too long and despite the assurance that the rain would still fall into the gutter, I have had to reposition my guttering. The caps on the end of the holding rails were of low quality and glued, and not screwed on and all fell off! A promised follow-up tidy-up visit to put back cladding never happened.Nice polite friendly guys though! Malcolm

Job Reasonable sized bedroom with windows front and back needs to be split in half to form 2 smaller bedrooms. Need a sound proofed partion wall crossing a 3.7m width room. The existing door is roughly centrally located and two doors will need to be arranged immediately upon entering through the existing door way.

Job We have just moved in to a house in Causewayhead where the conservatory/extension was descibed by the seller as a 4-seasons room. Sadly, this is not the case. The room has 2 central heating radiators installed, but the pipe joining them goes below the floorboards, through a cavity where the the wind whistles through; not surprisingly this pipe was frozen/burst on our arrival and we wish to insulate better under the floor to prevent this happening again (and improve heat retention). The brickwork, double-glazed windows and door look solid, but above them is a thin skin with gaps between it and the perspex(?) roof, through which wind and noise also comes. We have temporarily tried to pack this with paper, but this has got wet, so obviously it is not 100% waterproof either. We think it could be a very good room with a bit of improved insulation: we would welcome ides and quotes for this.

Comment Colin had some good, sensible ideas about our problem, finding low-cost but effective solutions which made best use of the existing set-up. He proved very conscientious, tidy, and easy to have around the house, and charged a very reasonable rate. We intend to use Colin again, and recommend him to others. Malcolm
