We're looking to extent our current small kitchen. The work requires knocking down the current 1-story kitchen and replacing it with a 1 1/2 story extension (5 x 6m) with a extra bedroom in the roof space (rest of the house is a 1-story traditional Scottish Cottage with a converted loft. No planning permission as yet, but are in process of aquiring this.
Kitchen will require plumbing (sink and re-placement of boiler) and bedroom requires hot/cold water and waste. We will place kitchen etc. ourselves. So all rooms finished plastered and screed floor (downstairs) and floorboards upstairs. Will need (spiral) staircase. Walls downstairs in externally rendered blockwork (with cavity insulation) and concrete insulated floor downstairs
