A brick pillar supported balcony that runs along the back and side of the house. When the rain runs off the tiled surface of the balcony it leaks into the render on the fascia, and beyond. The render is shot, and the c-section supporting RSJ shows signs of rust. We need to remove the render, repair and protect the RSJ, and find a water proofing solution that will enable water to drain off the balcony without seeping into the structure.
