Our house is an unusual one, built on a hill, over 2 1/2 floors with bedrooms downstairs. We want to make more use of the space 'under' the house by gaining internal access to the lower ground floor and coverting the space into an extra room. Quite a substantial project that could be classified as 'basement' work or a more general building/extension project.
