we currently have an inbuilt fire which doesnt work, we want to remove this and put in a more traditional fire, when we took out the inbuilt fire we found the fireplace doesnt have a lintle so will need one putting in. need to find out how much this will cost and how long it will take. looking to keep costs as low as possible so will reoves wallpaper and plaster before hand if this helps. Property style: Suburban
Areas that need to be repaired: plumbing, Refitting and re-plumbing a heavy Belfast type sink. Original feature of 60 year old house, one supporting bracket has broken, needs replacing with new bracket and outlet pipe re-plumbing.
Work relates to the following room(s): kitchen
Obviously with no sink in use in the kitchen it is very inconvenient.
I would like to get this fixed as soon as possible within reason.
But I am flexible up to a point.

Unsold lead, updated details: The house has a small extension that was built some years ago and the opening between the extension the original part of the house is too small. I would like the opening increased so as to be flush with side walls. The dimension of the opening that is required is about 12/14 foot. There will be some plastering to repair the side walls, probably area of 2 ft x height of room x 2 walls, The electrical work is moving a couple of lights and sockets and I could get some one else to do that. The budget of £2k was based on the suggested rate for the job on your website. Have amended as below. If it's going to be more than that I think that will influence whether I proceed. Original: Reconfiguration / Renovation Services required: demolition and/or wall removal, plastering / plasterboarding Work relates to the following room(s): lounge/Living room
steel needs to be erected as supporting wall. electrics will need to be moved, patch plastering
